THE NEXT MONTHLY SUPERVISOR MEETING WILL BE HELD ON
MONDAY, JUNE 3 AT 7PM
The annual Memorial Day service will be Monday, May 27 at 8:00am at the Honor Roll. Representative Mike Tobash will be the keynote speaker. The Williams Valley "Viking Pride" band will provide several musical selections. Ken Shadle will also provide a musical selection. The Wiconisco Fire Company Honor Guard will present a rifle salute, followed by taps. Taps and Echo will be played by Chelsea Ferraro and Michael Bixler. Invocation and prayer will be delivered by Kyle Roth. Benediction will be provided by Pastor Annette Shutt.
Gabrielle Snyder, the winner of the Wiconisco Fire Company Scholoarship and Wiconisco Alumni Scholoarship will also participate in the program.
Breakfast will be served at the firehouse following the ceremony. Everyone is invited to attend. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Calvary United Methodist Church on Pottsville Street.

The proposed 2013 budget of Wiconisco Township has been adopted and is available for public inspection at the township office during regular business hours.
Effective immediately Wiconisco Township will be strictly enforcing Ordinance #88-3 An Ordinance Regulating Fires and Burning Within The Township Of Wiconisco.
Outdoor fires shall be permitted upon private property in the Township of Wiconisco under the following regulations:
5. Any fire, the sole purpose of which is to cook or prepare food is permitted.
A copy of the entire ordinance can be obtained at the Township office. The Ordinance will be enforced by the Chief of Police and Codes Enforcement Officer. No warnings will be issued. The penalty for violation is a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $300 plus the costs of prosecution.
